(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) Former Ute quarterback Jason Shelley, who was a backup to Tyler Huntley last year after filling in after Huntley suffered a season-ending injury in 2018, has transferred to Utah State, the school announced Monday, July 13, 2020. Shelley will be immediately eligible to fill the big shoes left by NFL draftee Jordan Love.
