LeBron James, Donovan Mitchell’s new teammates, and the internet react to Jazz-Cavs trade
NBA players, fans and other personalities went on Twitter to share their thoughts and memes when the news broke.

It finally happened.
The Utah Jazz traded Donovan Mitchell.
But it wasn’t to the New York Knicks, like many had predicted for months. It was the Cleveland Cavaliers, who landed the All-Star guard in return for a haul of picks and young talent.
What? The Cavaliers? REALLY?! That was the Twitter discourse when ESPN broke the news Thursday afternoon.
As the initial shock began to wear off, fans and NBA players alike started looking forward to Mitchell’s move to Cleveland.
Including his new teammates.
Mitchell himself offered his first public reaction too. He did so on Instagram, and posted two photos: One of him in a Cavs jersey (we’ll guess it’s a LeBron James jersey) and another of that Brian Windhorst meme. You know the one.
Many Jazz fans posted their thanks to Mitchell for his years in Utah and his influence in the community.
Other fans had a bit of fun with Mitchell’s departure.
