Utah Royals’ World Cup trio receives key to the city from Salt Lake’s city, county mayors

Salt Lake City is heaping praise on the three Utah Royals FC players who helped the U.S. women claim another World Cup title. On Monday, Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski and Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson presented keys to the city to Christen Press, Becky Sauerbrunn and Kelley O’Hara, a ceremonial and rare move.

The star players then greeted rabid fans.
