Letter: Will France pay to ship Lady Liberty back?

(Craig Ruttle | The Associated Press) A ferry full of passengers steams towards the Statue of Liberty Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, in New York. The national landmark remained open despite a partial government shutdown after New York Governor Andrew Cuomo made funding available to keep the monument open.

After Mexico pays for “The Wall” to protect people from wandering into the racist USA, perhaps France will pay for the return of Lady Liberty, as “huddled masses yearning to be free” are no longer welcome here.
