Letter: Are we to read that ridiculous half-page ad — or the editorial?

FILE - In this Oct. 17, 2018, file photo, a man smokes multiple joints in a Toronto park as they mark the first day of legalization of cannabis across Canada. Supply shortages have been rampant in the two weeks since Canada became the largest national pot marketplace. (Chris Young/The Canadian Press via AP, File)

Just wondering if anyone at the Tribune has tried to sit in a chair and read the paper with that ridiculous half-page ad stuck to the editorial page.

What are you guys smoking?

Support free news for Utah

sltrib.com is now free to access — no subscription required. We made this decision because we believe access to trustworthy, independent news shouldn’t depend on what you can afford — especially as misinformation and AI-generated content continue to rise.

Free to read doesn’t mean free to produce. Our reporters show up every day to ask hard questions and hold powerful institutions to account. That work takes resources. As a nonprofit newsroom, we rely on support from people who believe it matters. Make a donation today to fund local news that serves Utah communities.
