Letter: My vote nullified, I’ve never been more disgusted by Utah

(The Salt Lake Tribune | Kathy Stephenson) Utahns who support Proposition 2 picked up their lawn signs and T-shirt during a rally Saturday.

The Utah Legislature nullified my vote and everyone who voted this last Election Day!

There is no respect of our votes, and everyone who voted to pass this bill — the medical marijuana “compromise” — should be voted out of office.

A complete and utter disrespect for the people of the state of Utah and the voices of the people’s initiative!

The initiatives are there because of the lack of action from our leaders in the first place. When the citizens react to that level of inaction, the Legislature responds in a very shameful and insulting manner. I’ve never been more disgusted by the action of Utah in my life!
