On or before Nov. 6, you should fill out and mail back your mail-in ballots or go to your polling place and cast a vote for someone who best represents your values. If your area has early voting, take advantage and vote before Nov. 6.
You should consider a candidate’s record in politics, especially regarding health care, women’s issues, immigration and LGBTQ rights. There are at least another dozen issues that you should consider when voting for a candidate but, in the end, you should vote for the people who you believe will be representing your values.
Do not vote for a candidate or issue just because someone else says you should. Your vote is yours alone, and no one has the right to tell you for whom or what to vote.
Please don’t forget to vote. Put it on your calendar so that you can cast a vote for the candidates of your choice and for the issues that will affect your life. Your choice should be made by YOU, and every vote counts, especially in Utah!
