(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) A boat tour departs from the Great Salt Lake Marina on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, as it follows a very narrow corridor deep enough to accommodate the pontoon boat with limited passengers as dry lakebed continues to emerge from the shallow lake. With all other boats now removed from the marina, lake tour operations are expected to end within the week during the ongoing drought.
