(Leah Hogsten | The Salt Lake Tribune) Gov. Spencer J. Cox announced his fiscal year 2024 budget recommendations Dec. 9, 2022 at a press conference in South Jordan. The proposed budget will include $1 billion in tax cuts and a $6,000 compensation increase for every teacher in the state.
