Utah, other states rush to approve plan to send Flaming Gorge water to Lake Powell as crisis looms
Upper Basin states and federal officials said the releases from Flaming Gorge are needed to prevent Lake Powell from losing its ability to generate hydropower at Glen Canyon Dam.
