The tallest outdoor climbing wall in Utah opened on Saturday morning at Millcreek City Hall.
The 65-foot wall was funded by a $200,000 Utah outdoor recreation grant, which was awarded to Millcreek in 2022, according to a news release from the city. Residents can climb for free all day Saturday, and Millcreek Common is hosting a number of climbing competitions at the wall from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Registration for a climbing session or rope belay clinic at City Hall is available on Millcreek Common’s website.
