A split Salt Lake City Council approves higher density for 3.2 acres of open space, clearing the way for 19 new homes at the north end of F Street.

(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) Despite hefty neighborhood opposition, Ivory Homes, Utah's largest homebuilder, won a rezone Tuesday on a 3.2-acre plot of open space at 675 North F Street in the Avenues, clearing the way for 19 homes, at least 14 of them with accessory dwellings built in.
