(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) Crime scene investigators work the scene of a fatal crash near the intersection of 900 E. 1700 South in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. A woman and child on a sidewalk were struck when a car drove over the curb and hit them. The woman died, and the child was critically injured. It was one of two separate fatal crashes Tuesday involving children.
