Nearly 800 acres burned in a wildfire in Toquerville sparked by vehicle dragging a chain

A vehicle dragging a chain sparked a wildfire Monday afternoon that tore through about 786 acres of dry grass and brush near Toquerville.
Heavy winds pushed the flames, making it difficult for firefighters to control them. But by Tuesday evening, the first was completely contained. No one was injured.
Cooler weather Tuesday aided firefighters as they mopped up hot spots, officials said.
The blaze, called the Anderson Junction Fire, caused about 20 households to evacuate, but that evacuation order was lifted Monday evening. Three outbuildings were destroyed in the fire, and another was damaged.
