The woman came home Tuesday afternoon and found Lucy injured, the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. A veterinarian said it seems the dog was stabbed or shot with a bow and arrow.

“Fortunately, it appears that Lucy will make a full recovery at home. Unfortunately, we don’t know who is responsible for Lucy’s injuries,” according to the release.
