The body of an Arizona man was found in Lake Powell after what investigators are calling an "apparent drowning."
Albert Shortman, 33, from Cow Springs, Ariz., was reported missing at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, about an hour and a half after he last had been seen. Searchers found his body near the Wahweap Swim Beach, close to Page, Ariz., according to a news statement Monday from Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
The National Park Service and sheriff’s officials from Coconino County, Ariz., are investigating Shortman’s death.
