Catholic Community Services of Utah is moving to new offices that are two-thirds bigger than its current home.
CCS has purchased a 20,000-square-foot building at 224 N. 2200 West and will relocate its headquarters there. The purchase price was not announced in a Thursday news release.
According to real estate brokerage Newmark Grubb ACRES, the charity’s new building is 67% larger than its current space at 745 E. 300 South.
(CCS recently sold that 24,000-square-foot building to Odyssey House, which had been renting half that space.)
The new building will be office space. Catholic Community Services will continue to operate programs at other facilities, including a new 200-bed men’s and women’s homeless resource center at 275 Paramount Ave.
