The city of Payson announced Saturday afternoon that it has lifted its boil order after water samples came back clean, according to FOX 13. Some residents had been ordered to boil their water until further notice after a water main broke last week.
On Thursday, a 10-main was broken when a boring machine bored through the line, with water flooding into homes in the area. Payson Fire and Rescue said homes between 400 North to 900 North and 300 East and 750 East were affected by the boil order.
