Salt Lake police seek public’s help after woman is killed by drive-by shooters who targeted the wrong house

Salt Lake police are asking for the public's help after a woman — who was apparently mistakenly targeted — was killed in a drive-by shooting early Friday.

Wanyun Judd, 47, was killed when she was struck by “errant bullets” at approximately 6:24 a.m. on Friday. Police said they believe that her home, at 54 E. Harrison Ave., was “incorrectly targeted” by suspects.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips can be sent by text to 274637. Start your text with TIPSLCPD, which routes it to the police department.
