Marina dredging project closes Utah Lake State Park

While it may be tempting to do some fishing, launch a boat or even camp at Utah Lake State Park, those activities are temporarily unavailable.
Utah State Park officials announced this week that the park is closed due to ongoing construction to dredge the marina to make it more useable for boaters.
There are closed signs posted at the main launch ramp, visitor center and parking lot. The closure also includes the river bank exposed below the high water mark of the Provo River, within the boundaries of the state park.
Those who are caught entering the park will be cited for trespassing.
The park is set to reopen at the end of construction by late March or early April.
