Fans of Guinness stout can get their mug in their mug at Flanagan’s on Main.

The Park City bar, 438 Main St., will sell “STOUTies” — a selfie in the foam of your beer — this Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the opening weekend of the Sundance Film Festival.

STOUTies are made using natural malt extract and added to the top of a traditional Guinness pint, according to a news release. It’s drinkable and does not hinder the beer’s flavor. The cost is $12 each.

The fun gimmick uses 3D printer mechanics with ink-jet printing, said Flanagan’s co-owner John Kenworthy, who discovered the STOUTie while visiting the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin this past summer.

Each year during the film festival, Flanagan’s turns into the Guinness Lounge, said Kenworthy, and, thus, has been the No. 1 seller of Guinness beer in Utah for the past 10 years.

STOUTies — and other food and drinks — will be available at Flanagan’s each day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
