Refugees and immigrant women from Utah walked the runway at the Women of the World 9th Annual Fashion Show on Wednesday evening as they celebrated their ethnic fashion and cultural traditions at the Falls Event Center.

According to the Women of the World website, “The event is a moment to recognize the wonderful and humbling diversity and diligence of the human race. We celebrate one another. We plant a flag and appreciate where we have been before taking that next step to our hoped-for future."

Proceeds from the event help support refugees and immigrant women in Utah.
