(Steve Griffin | The Salt Lake Tribune) BYU running backs coach AJ Steward (right) has only been on the job for a year, but already he's considered a rising star in recruiting due to his work bringing non-LDS athletes to BYU.
After graduating from the University of Utah, Jay joined The Tribune in 1989 as a newsroom assistant. He joined the sports department in 1990 and has worked there ever since, spearheading the newspaper's high school sports coverage for 13 years before moving into management. In 2005, Drew went back to writing and has covered BYU sports since 2008.
