Darlene McDonald, Jeff Merchant and Terry Marasco have entered a growing field of candidates in the race for the open at-large Salt Lake County Council seat vacated by newly-inaugurated county Mayor Jenny Wilson. The Salt Lake County Democratic Party's central committee will have the final say over who gets to fill the seat.
