Here’s who Gov. Cox selected to fill the Utah state school board vacancy
Republican Erin Longacre will take over the District 7 seat on the state school board.
(Erin Longacre) Erin Longacre was named to the Utah State Board of Education on July 29, 2025. Gov. Spencer Cox appointed Longacre, a Republican, to fill the seat vacated by Molly Hart, who was selected as state superintendent of education in June.
