(Leah Hogsten | The Salt Lake Tribune) Construction is underway at Salt Lake City International Airport's Central Tunnel on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022. The new tunnel, scheduled to open October 2024, will speed up travel time from concourse A to concourse B, giving travelers a straight shot from airport security with the help of moving walkways.
