Police arrest two suspects after fatal Christmas morning shooting in Riverdale

A man and woman were taken Friday to a hospital, where the man died from his injuries.

A shooting killed a Riverdale man and left his girlfriend seriously injured early Christmas morning.

Police say they have arrested an adult woman and a teenage boy for the shooting on charges of murder, attempted murder, burglary and robbery.

Police went to a mobile home park at 5100 S. 1050 West in Riverdale after receiving a report of shots fired at 3:20 a.m. Friday. The officers found two critically injured victims, a man and woman, who, Police Chief Scott Brenkman said, were in a romantic relationship. Both victims were transported to a hospital, where the 36-year-old man, identified as Trevor Anthony Martin, died of his injuries.

Police are still looking for a third suspect.

Police are asking the public to report any information that might help in the case by calling Weber County dispatch at 801-395-8221 and asking to speak with a Riverdale officer.
