Attorney for protester asks judge to throw out case because of alleged misconduct by Salt Lake County D.A.

(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) Protesters react to the announced ruling by Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill on Thursday, July 9, 2020, that the shooting death of 22-year-old Bernardo Palacios-Carbajal in May by police officers was legally justified. An attorney for a protester charged in painting the building filed a motion on Oct. 5, 2020, to dismiss the case, alleging prosecutorial misconduct.
