Facebook boots Utah Citizens’ Alarm, a group that has opposed Black Lives Matter protests

(Leah Hogsten | The Salt Lake Tribune) Utah Citizens' Alarm members attend the Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, Black Lives Matter rally in Cottonwood Heights. It was held five days after after nine protesters were arrested during a peaceful rally in memory of Zane James, killed by Cottonwood Heights police in 2018, that turned into a violent clash with Cottonwood Heights officers. Demonstrators gathered outside the police station Aug. 7 to denounce CHPD's actions, and UCA members watched.
