Snowbird, which closed with other Utah ski resorts to limit the spread of COVID-19, gave employees around 10,000 pounds food Saturday that otherwise would have gone bad.
Employees got bags full of eggs, cheese, milk, bread, herbs, veggies and fruits — all delivered to them under Centers for Disease Control and Prevention social distancing protocols.
Drivers pulled up to Snowbird’s corporate offices in Holladay and employees handed fellow workers the food through open windows or dropped the bags into open trunks.
