Evacuations lifted for Davis County blaze, which may have smoldered for a week

A fast-moving wildfire broke out on the mountainside in the Kaysville/Fruit Heights area Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, threatening structures and is forcing evacuations as it moves east to the neighborhood between Green Road and 200 North in Kaysville.
