Unified Police are asking for the public’s help to identify three persons of interest in a Kearns shooting that killed one man and seriously wounded another on Wednesday.
The department released photos of three individuals and two vehicles and asked that anyone with information call 801-743-7000.
Gunshots were reported at a home near 4800 South and 4700 West about 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Police arrived to find one man dead on the ground outside the home; a local emergency clinic reported a second man who suffered a gunshot wound at the home had come in for treatment.
Police identified the man who was killed at the home as John Herman Tonga, 34.
