‘Mormon Land’: Affirmation leaders discuss LDS donation, diversity and whether their LGBTQ support group is getting too tight with the church

(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune) Supporters of Affirmation march in the Utah Pride Parade in Salt Lake City, Sunday, June 3, 2018.

It marks the first significant collaboration between the Mormon church and the independent LGBTQ support group.

President Carson Tueller and Executive Director John Gustav-Wrathall discuss that donation, the resulting fallout, their group’s diverse membership and whether Affirmation is getting too cozy with the LDS Church in the latest edition of “Mormon Land.”
