New SLC bar to open where longtime restaurant shuttered during the pandemic

Bar Martine is scheduled to open Nov. 1 where Martine Cafe once stood in downtown Salt Lake City.

The new bar, in the space where Martine Cafe operated before the COVID-19 pandemic, is projected to open on Nov. 1, 2024, according to the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services.
