Inter-disciplinary Applied Approach to Health and Performance Enhancement through Sports Science
The lush and sprawling campus of MRIU is located in the Aravalli Hills area on the Delhi-Surajkund Road. The campus lies in Sector 43, Faridabad, and is hardly 10 minutes driving distance from Surajkund, the venue of the world famous annual crafts fair, held in February every year. The University is easily accessible through either Badkal Chowk or NHPC Chowk on Mathura Road (NH-2), or via Charmwood Village near Badarpur Border. Surajkund lies between Charmwood and MRIU. The easiest option, however, would be to avail of the Metro facilities up to Badarpur Metro Station and from there take the road up to Badkal Chowk, turn left and head towards the Surajkund Delhi Road where MRIU campus is situated.
Faridabad is located on broad gauge of New Delhi-Mumbai Line, about 30-35 km from New Delhi Railway Station. Most of the trains for big cities like Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad stop here. Local Trains run between New Delhi and Faridabad. There are three railway stations in the city viz. Faridabad, New Industrial Town Faridabad and Ballabgarh. Metro rail services are likely to touch the city by 2013. It lies on NH-2 and is easily accessible from rest of the places.
Faridabad is served by Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi and Palam Domestic Airport, New Delhi at a distance of about 35 km.
